This year Pullman Reef Casino, Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort, Novotel Palm Cove and the   Mercure Cairns Harbourside,  will be sending representatives to participate in Accor’s Race to Survive from 26 – 29 October to “transform the lives of disadvantaged Australians” through Mission Australia.

This is an event run over 4 days on the Sunshine Coast and will involve swimming, kayaking, mountain biking and running. They will be part of a team of 4 people from Accor Tropical North Queensland team name of “Northern Diversity”, and the goal is to raise a minimum of $10,000 which will go towards Mission Australia.

 This ultimate challenge of stamina, strength, speed and strategy will raise much-needed funds for Mission Australia services that combat homelessness, empower youth, strengthen families and children, and provide pathways to skills and employment.
